Pulsar is rolling out a new authentication service for you, ensuring a safer, smoother login and seamless transitions between Pulsar and Vuelio products like MCD and SRM.
Here are the three new authentication methods for you:
Simple Authentication - You can now self-set your Email and Password for a swift Pulsar login. Gone are the days when a Pulsar Account Manager had to manually set it up for you. If you're keen on accessing Pulsar Contacts, Distribution, and SRM, this will be the way to go.
Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) - Familiar with 2 Factor Authentication (2FA)? It's the same concept. This ensures an added layer of protection for your account, asking you for at least two verifications before logging in. Think of it as an extra shield, going beyond just your username and password.
Single Sign On (SSO) - Fancy a centralised login process? With SSO, you can hop onto Pulsar using your organisation’s usual login details. No need for multiple passwords or separate Pulsar credentials. It’s streamlined and efficient.

So, why this upgrade?
It's all about amplifying the safety measures on Pulsar. As cyber threats become more sophisticated, we're committed to ensuring that your data and interactions remain protected. By introducing these enhanced authentication methods, we're not only aiming to make your login experience smoother but also fortifying the barriers against potential security breaches. Every step we're taking is with a view to offer you a platform that's both user-friendly and robustly secure.
Simple Authentication
If you need to access the new Media Contacts iFrame, aptly named Pulsar Contacts & Distribution, this method is a must. However, even if you don’t require it, consider opting in. Why? It's a notch above the existing sign-up process in security. And a heads up – by year-end, we plan to shift everyone to this mode as it's safer and more manageable. For Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)
If you’re seeking that additional security layer on Pulsar, MFA has you covered. Though it's a blend of the simple auth and an extra authentication step, where you might receive a code or a call. Delve deeper into MFA here.
Single Sign On (SSO)
If juggling multiple passwords isn't your thing, SSO is for you. Just use your usual work login details for Pulsar and you're good to go, minimising the login hassle and potential weak password vulnerabilities. Unravel more about SSO here.
