Learning Objectives

  • You will know how to preview and export your Coverage Report

  • You will be able to send or schedule a Coverage Report to large lists of recipients

Coverage Reports offer a way to share the latest and most relevant media content to audiences in an organisation, so it’s important that our users have the tools to make the process of previewing and sharing the reports as easy and seamless as possible.

Previewing and Exporting Coverage Reports

We developed a way to preview the final outcome of your Coverage Reports so that you can check the design and content of the report before exporting the final version across to your stakeholders.

To preview a Coverage Report:

  • In your Coverage Report, click on the ‘Preview & Export’ button on the top left corner of the page. A preview of the Coverage Report will appear.

If you are satisfied with the content and design of your Coverage Report preview, you can export the Coverage Report on the Preview page.

To export a Coverage Report to a PDF file:

  • In the Coverage Report preview > Click on the ‘Export’ button on the top-right corner of the screen. A PDF version of the Coverage Report will be downloaded shortly. Note that the processing time may vary depending on the number of articles and charts you’ve added to the Coverage Report.

Emailing Coverage Reports

Aside from exporting your Coverage Report to a PDF, you can also send it to your stakeholders via email by clicking on the 'Email' button in the Coverage Reports page.

Selecting the ‘Email Now’ option will send the Coverage Report as soon as you fill in the details and click ‘Send’.

To send your Coverage Report via email:

  1. In your Coverage Report, click on the ‘Email’ button on the top right corner of the screen. This will display 2 options: Email Now, and Schedule

  2. Select ‘Email Now’. A pop-up will display with the following Recipient fields:

    1. To - Email addresses who will receive the Coverage Report

    2. Subject - The subject of the email

    3. Message - The body of the email

  3. Fill in the ‘To’, ‘Subject’ and ‘Message’ fields. For the ‘To’ field, you can type in an email address and select from an existing user whose email address also has a Pulsar account, or create a new one.

    1. Note: If you have a large number of recipients, the ‘Upload CSV’ feature will be a better option as you can compile all the email addresses in a CSV file and upload it, instead of manually adding each email address.

  4. Click ‘Send’. This will send the Coverage Report via email to your recipients.
