Multi-Segment Sorting enables the creation of distinct sorting sections within your collection. This functionality allows you to categorize products within a collection into multiple segments, facilitating more targeted sorting for each segment.

Here's a quick overview of what's inside the Segment tab:

1. To access the Segment tab, navigate to Collections Sort and click Segment.

2. Start adding a new segment sorting by clicking the + Create new segment button and completing all the details the new segment wizard asks.

You can also check our detailed article on creating a new segment here.

3. Once a segment is created, it will be listed in this area.

From this area, you can view the basic details of the segment, activate or deactivate a segment, and edit a segment if needed.

4. You have two actions provided for you. Click the edit icon to change the details of the segment, and click the bin icon to delete the segment.

Note: Deleting a segment is permanent and can't be undone.

5. Next, use the Search Box to find a segment from your list. Type the segment you're looking for and hit the Enter key on your keyboard.

6. You can also use the different items from here, which let you show or hide the different details of the segment, which are Title, Created at, and Updated at, to give a more customized segment list.

7. To quickly arrange this table, click the Sort icon. Sorting your table allows you to arrange the segment list in ascending or descending alphabetical order.

8. Last, deactivate a segment by setting this toggle to OFF.

Pro tip: Deactivate a segment if you plan to use it again. If not, then we advise you to delete the segment instead.

Note: "Randomly" sort type is now compatible with segment sorting.
