As you might have noticed, the email parser in Pulseway PSA stopped picking up emails, and failed to connect to Microsoft 365 accounts on June 29th, 2022. Following reports of the issue, we investigated and identified that it only affects Microsoft 365 users who are using Basic Authentication and not using OAUTH 2.0.

Furthermore, Microsoft has announced that from October 1, 2022, they will begin to permanently disable Basic Auth in all tenants. They will also be doing a proactive protection expansion process in the meantime where they will turn off and disable basic authentication for random customers for 24 to 48 hours as per this blog .

Based on this, we strongly encourage you to switch to OAUTH 2.0 to avoid any potential disruption to the Pulseway PSA email parser. Please find the Pulseway Intercom KB article on the OAUTH 2.0 change here .
