This guide explains all of the settings available in Mozilla Firefox for controlling pop-ups.

For Computers

  • Open the Mozilla Firefox Browser.

  • Click the drop down menu on the top left corner of the Firefox browser, and select Options.

  • The Options window will open.

  • Click on the Content tab.

  • Check the Block pop-up windows.

  • Click the ok button.

  • Pop-Up Windows is now blocked in Mozilla Firefox Browser.

For Android

There are no Pop-up Blocker Options in Firefox for Android. However, if you wish to disable Pop-ups, you can follow these instructions:

Type about:config in the address bar
Search dom.disable_open_during_load and set it to false

To re-enable the Pop-up blocker, set dom.disable_open_during_load to true

For iOS

To allow pop-ups on Firefox for iOS, tap the button in the top right corner. It should have a number in it (most likely a "1"). That will bring up a display of your open tabs. Then click on the gear icon in the top left corner. That will bring up the settings screen. From there, just tap on the switch beside "Block Pop-up Windows".
