What is it?

The Parent-Children Management feature enhances the Qollabi platform by enabling users to view and manage partner relationships more effectively. With this feature, users can link partners under global or regional partners and even distributors, empowering (P)AMs with a comprehensive list of child partners, which they can go through in detail to offer guidance and support where needed. The Parent-Children Management feature is a strategic tool that optimizes partnership performance and growth to commit to meaningful action plans.

Why does this help?

  1. Users can define parent-child relationships, linking partners under global or regional partners and distributors.

  2. There is a visually clear and easily understood hierarchy, eliminating confusion around partnership structures.

  3. Users can clearly identify which distributor is responsible for each partner, facilitating efficient management of distributor-partner connections.

  4. Users responsible on a higher level can access detailed information about each child partner within the hierarchy.

In general this helps track parent-child relationships between partners, providing a better understanding of the hierarchical structure and strategic insights for partnership growth, solving Parent-Children and Distributor cases.

FAQ

  • Q: “How do I enable the Parent-Children functionality?”

    • A: There is a new column next to the Account Name called Parent (IF this field is not hidden). This column indicates the name of the parent of the account on the left.

  • Q: “Do I have access to a parent?”

    • A: You only have access to a parent if you’re assigned to it or if you’re responsible for someone who is assigned to it. Clicking on that name will redirect you to the parent IF you have access to it.

  • Q: “How do I assign a parent to a partner?”

    • A: To assign a Parent to a partner, you’ll need to open the account details slider.

  • Q: “Can I filter on a parent account?”

    • A: Yes! You can filter the Parents column just as any other column.
