Resource Monitor is a built-in Windows tool that provides real-time insights into your system’s CPU, disk, network, and memory (RAM) usage.
Accessing Resource Monitor:
Using the Start Menu:
1. Click the Start button.
2. In the search box, type Resource Monitor.
3. Select Resource Monitor from the list of results.
Using the Run Command:
1. Press Win + R to open the Run dialog box.
2. Type resmon.exe and press Enter.
Via Task Manager:
1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
2. Navigate to the Performance tab.
3. Click on Open Resource Monitor at the bottom.

Using Resource Monitor:
Once opened, Resource Monitor offers several tabs to monitor different aspects of your system:
Overview:
• Provides a summary of CPU, disk, network, and memory usage.
CPU:
• Displays active processes, services, associated handles, and modules.
• Helps identify processes consuming high CPU resources.
Memory:
• Shows physical memory consumption by processes.
• Assists in detecting memory leaks or high usage.
Disk:
• Monitors disk activity, including processes with disk activity and storage usage.
• Useful for identifying disk-intensive processes.
Network:
• Tracks network activity, TCP connections, and listening ports.
• Helps pinpoint processes utilizing network bandwidth.
Utilizing Resource Monitor can help you effectively manage system performance and troubleshoot resource-related issues.
