This guide explains the different notification types in Quartz, how to recognise them and the actions you can take.
New Notification
A new notification is indicated by an orange circle on the bell icon in the top-right corner of your Quartz home screen.
Details:
Notifications remain visible for 7 days.
The most recent notifications appear at the top of the list.
Scroll down to view earlier notifications.
No Notification
When there are no notifications, there is no orange circle next to the bell icon.
Clicking the bell will display a screen indicating no notifications:
Timesheets Needing Your Approval
Some assignments may require organisation approval for timesheets and/or expenses (this is set on the assignment settings).
Once a client approves a timesheet or expense, it returns to the organisation’s Quartz account for final approval.
Message
This will pop up in the notifications on Quartz as timesheets are waiting for your approval.
You can click View Timesheets directly from the notification to go straight to the approval screen.

Contractor Data Synced from Bullhorn
If Quartz is connected to Bullhorn, updates made to contractor data in Bullhorn are automatically pulled to Quartz.
The sync occurs on a 30-minute cycle once connected.
Message
You will receive a notification when contractor data has been updated and is ready to view in the API Records Screen.
Clicking the notification takes you directly to the API Records screen.
