Pulling Assignment Rate details from Bullhorn

Breakdown of how rate details are pulled from Bullhorn into Quartz

S
Written by Shauna Greaves

Following our July release, we're pleased to announce a further enhancement to the Bullhorn integration. Assignment rate details can now be pulled directly from Bullhorn and automatically created against assignments within Quartz.

This improvement reduces manual data entry and helps ensure rate information remains consistent across both systems.

Rates will be pulled through for:

  • Newly created assignments

  • Existing assignments where a rate change has been made in Bullhorn

How it works

Within Bullhorn, the following fields should be populated on the placement record:

Pay Rates

  • Pay Rate – the worker's standard pay rate

  • Pay Rate – the pay frequency (e.g. per hour, per day, or per year)

  • Overtime Pay Rate – the worker's overtime pay rate

Please note: Bullhorn assumes the overtime pay rate uses the same rate type as the standard pay rate. This can be amended in Quartz once the record has pulled through.

Bill Rates

  • Bill Rate – the standard charge rate to the client

  • Overtime Bill Rate – the overtime charge rate to the client

Once the placement status is set to Approved in Bullhorn, these details will flow through to the Quartz API Records screen.

Managing Imported Rates in Quartz

Once the rates have been pulled through from Bullhorn, you can review and amend the rate types as required using the edit icon on the API Records screen.

You can either map the Bullhorn rates to existing Quartz rate types or retain the Bullhorn rate names if preferred. This is highlighted below:

If you do not wish for a particular rate line to be created in Quartz, you can remove one or both lines before processing the assignment. This will simply exclude that rate from the current creation/ update. Any rates that already exist on the assignment in Quartz will remain unchanged.

Once you select Create, the rate details pulled through from Bullhorn will be reflected on the assignment in Quartz.
