Timesheet Status Explained

The following timesheets status are used in the system to describe where the timesheets are at in the process of going from Assignment, to submitted, to approved.

Open: Open timesheet means that there is an Assignment for the period, but no timesheet has yet been raised. If a timesheet is open when the Chaser Report is run, the Contractor will receive a reminder to submit a timesheet for this period.
Draft: Contractor has raised a timesheet in their portal, but they have saved it as a draft, they have not yet submitted the timesheet.
If the timesheet is a draft with (MT) at the end of the timesheet number, this means an Organisation User has raised a manual timesheet and saved it in draft.
If the timesheet is in draft status when the Chaser Report is run, the Contractor will receive a reminder to submit a timesheet for this period.
Awaiting Authorisation: Contractor has submitted a timesheet, and it is awaiting Client authorisation. In this instance the Contractor has done their requirements and the Client is holding up the process. If a timesheet is in Awaiting Authorisation status when the Timesheet Chaser is run, the Client User assigned as the Assignment Authoriser will receive the notification.
Awaiting Approval: Timesheets in ‘Awaiting Approval’ status are pending with the Organisation’s Users, these will display in the User Timesheets area and are required to be Approved.
Approved: Final approval stage, only when a timesheet is approved is it able to be billed and/or paid.

Rejected: The timesheet has been rejected by the Client/ Organisation , can be resubmitted
