What conduct is inappropriate?

There are two types of conduct deemed inappropriate: User Generated Content and Fraudulent Commercial Activity.

1. User-Generated Content

Inappropriate user-generated content includes such content that:

  • Features offensive content in your collector Profile, including profile picture, cover photo, and blurb

  • Features offensive content in your Listings, including the listing thumbnail and seller's description

  • Features offensive content in your Storyboards

  • Features offensive content in direct messages (DM's) shared between collectors

The definition of offensive content includes:

  • Content supporting terrorism, organized crime, or hate groups

  • Comments, illustrations, photos, and videos of nudity or sexual activity

  • Offerings of sexual services, buying or selling of firearms, and buying or selling of illegal or prescription drugs (even if it is legal in your region)

  • Promotions of online gambling, online real money games of skill, or online lotteries

  • Bullying or harassment, or content designed to degrade or shame fellow collectors

  • Content encouraging violence or attacks on anyone based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disabilities, or diseases

  • The use of historical or controversial figures to illustrate hate speech

  • Encouraging self-harm

While not deemed offensive content, Quidd strongly suggests community members to not engage in the following:

  • Spamming accounts

  • Posting images of children

  • Posting or requesting personal information

  • Coordinating on fraudulent commercial activity

Such behavior will be monitored within the Quidd application on iOS, Android, and the web as well as on the official Quidd social media and community accounts, including Discord and Twitter.

Reports of behavior that occurs outside of these applications and services are not in the purview of Quidd. Such "off-site" reports will not be included in Quidd's monitoring of Community Guidelines.

2. Fraudulent Transaction Activity

Inappropriate primary and aftermarket activity includes:

  • Deliberate trading of the same collectibles back and forth between accounts

  • Use of bots in both the primary and aftermarkets

  • Use of alternate accounts to move Sales Proceeds

  • Coordinated wash trading between accounts

  • Deposits followed by deliberate chargebacks

While not deemed fraudulent transaction activity, Quidd strongly suggests community members to not engage in the following:

  • Manipulating of aftermarket prices

  • Coordinating with fellow owners to establish unrealistic floor prices

What conduct is appropriate?

The following conduct is appropriate and encouraged:

  • Being open and respectful

  • Fostering meaningful and genuine interactions

  • Thoughtfully sharing newsworthy events

  • Surfacing any bugs or errors in Quidd operations and product

New to 2022 Community Policies, the following conduct is discouraged, but is acceptable:

  • Coordinating transactions with fellow collectors off-site

  • Selling individual items, sets, collections, or account on third-party sites, like eBay

  • Showing dissatisfaction with specific individuals or groups of people.

For interested collectors, Quidd will help facilitate the sales of a whole collection (e.g., Rick And Morty) and a whole account through its Bulk Print Transfer program.
