Learn how to search for deals & use operators to filter results

Updated over a week ago

In order to quickly find deals, use the search bar at the top of your QuotaPath workspace. Admins can search for all deals, Team Managers with 'Full' permissions can search for deals in their plan or their team's plans, and Members can search for their deals only.

To search for a deal, go to the search bar and type in at least 3 characters in the deal name. You can preview the search results as you type in the search bar. Admins will be able to view all users with earnings on the same deal record. To view an individual deal, click the deal to view the deal details. For more information on deal details, view this article. To view all search results, hit enter on your keyboard, or click "View all search results."

You can also use the search operators to filter your search results based on deal attributes like whether the deal is approved, has a discrepancy, or has a flag.

The deal search operators that can be typed into the search bar are:

  • "has:override": Deal has an override (deal value or earnings)

  • "is:approved": Deal is approved

  • "has:flag": Deal has a flag

  • "has:open-flag": Deal has an open flag

  • "has:discrepancy": Deal has a discrepancy

  • "-has:override": Deal does NOT have an override

  • "-is:approved": Deal is NOT approved

  • "-has:flag": Deal does NOT have a flag

  • "-has:open-flag": Deal does NOT have an open flag

  • "-has:discrepancy": Deal does NOT have a discrepancy

You can also combine multiple search operators with search terms. Here are a few examples:

  • "-has:flag has:override Global"

  • "is:approved has:flag Partnership"

After completing your search and opting to view your search results, a new 'Search' tab will open on the Deals page. From here, can use the filters on the Deals page to further refine your search results, click to view the details for a deal, or manage the deals including editing, approving, overriding, etc.
