Updated over 2 weeks ago

In QuoteIQ, you can manage multiple customer contracts or terms & conditions and assign them based on the type of job or customer. This guide shows you how to add, upload, edit, delete, and select which contract is used by default in your account.

Step 1: Open the Settings Menu

From your Dashboard, click Settings in the left-hand sidebar.

Step 2: Go to “Contract / Terms & Conditions”

Scroll to the Templates & Customization section and click Contract / Terms & Conditions.

Step 3: View Your Current Contracts

You’ll see a list of all contracts saved to your account.

These may include multiple versions for residential, commercial, chemical use, or HOA-specific jobs.

To manage them:

  • Click the pencil icon next to any contract to edit the header or body

  • Click the trash can icon to delete a contract from your list

Step 4: Add a New Contract

Click the orange + button in the bottom right corner to add a new contract.

You’ll be asked to choose between two options:

  1. Custom Terms and Conditions

Write your own contract using a Header and Body field. You can use dynamic tags like @company_name or @customer_name to personalize it.

  2. Upload Document

Upload a pre-written PDF contract from your device. (PDF files only)

Step 5: Buy a Pre-Made Contract (Optional)

If you don’t have your own contract, you can purchase one directly from this screen.

Click the Buy Now button to preview and purchase a professionally written customer contract.

Step 6: Set Your Default Contract

To choose which contract is used on your estimates and invoices by default:

  • Click the circle icon to the left of the contract you want to use

  • Then click Update Default at the top of the screen

This contract will now be attached to every estimate unless manually changed.

Tip: You can create multiple contracts for different job types—like residential, roof cleaning, or commercial work—and select them as needed when quoting.
