How to Use the Business Calculators

Access tools like mix calculators, profit margins, and more to make smarter business decisions in QuoteIQ.

QuoteIQ includes a suite of built-in business calculators designed to help service professionals price jobs, mix chemicals, calculate margins, and more. Whether you’re working on estimates or planning job costs, these calculators give you the data you need to stay efficient and profitable.

Step 1: Go to the Resources Tab

From your main dashboard, navigate to the left-side menu and click on Resources.


Step 2: Select “Calculators”

In the Resources section, click Calculators to access all available tools.


Step 3: Explore the Available Calculators

The following calculators are currently available:

  • Chemical Mix Calculator – Helps determine the correct SH dilution for pressure washing.

  • Downstream Injector Percentage Calculator – Calculates draw rate percentages to ensure accurate mixes.

  • Mulch Calculator – Quickly estimate how much mulch is needed based on square footage and depth.

  • Paint Calculator – Helps estimate gallons needed for interior/exterior painting jobs.

  • Profit Margin Calculator – Understand what you’re actually making after costs.

  • Labor Calculator – Estimate labor costs based on time, rate, and team size.

Tip: Use the Profit Margin and Labor Calculators before finalizing any quote to ensure you’re not just winning jobs—but making money on them.


Step 4: View the “Late Fees by State” Guide

At the bottom of the calculator list, you’ll find the Late Fees by State guide. This lists the maximum allowable late fees per U.S. state—helpful when charging overdue invoices.
