Step 1: Activate Services
Head to your Settings, scroll to the Self-Service section, and select InstaQuote Setup.
Here, you’ll see a list of services you’ve already created in your account. Simply check the boxes for the services you want to include in your InstaQuote form and click Save Services.
Once saved, you’ll see a Configure button next to each active service.
Step 2: Configure Pricing for Each Service
Click Configure next to a service to open up that service’s quote logic.
At the top, you’ll have the option to allow customers to enter square footage manually. This is great for basic area-based pricing.
Then toggle ON/OFF a minimum price for the service. This ensures small requests don’t quote under your acceptable range.
Pricing Matrix Options
To the right of that, click Add Category or the + Icon at the bottom right of your screen to build your pricing logic. You’ll see three options:
1. Dropdown
Use this to create fixed tiers or price jumps based on selections.
Example:
House Size category
Less than 1500 sq ft → $224
1501–2000 sq ft → $249
2001–2500 sq ft → $299
(All set as Fixed → Upcharge)
You can also apply percentage pricing or set values as Discounts instead of Upcharges.
2. Yes/No
Great for toggles — ask a question, and apply pricing based on the answer.
Example:
Do you have a screen porch?
Yes → $50 Fixed Upcharge
No → No charge
You can create multiple yes/no questions under one category.
3. Dimensions
Dimensions let the customer enter length, width, and quantity — and the system multiplies it automatically.
Ideal for concrete, pavers, patios, or driveways.
Example:
Area 1: Driveway — 25 ft × 20 ft
Area 2: Patio — 12 ft × 14 ft
You can label each section and let the customer add multiple areas.
Step 3: Preview Your InstaQuote
Once everything is configured, click Live Preview at the top of the setup screen.
The form will launch in a new window, and you’ll see exactly what your customer sees. Let’s walk through an example:
House Wash Example:
Choose Services:
Enter Details:
Sq. Ft. (Minimum Price Toggled OFF): 2,500
Dropdown (House Size): 1500–3000 sq ft → applies base price
Dropdown (Stories): 2 stories → applies additional upcharge
Yes/No (Screen Porch): Selected “No” → skips the extra charge
Click Next Service to continue.
Concrete Wash Example:
Enter Details:
Driveway: 25 ft × 20 ft
Patio: 14 ft × 12 ft
(Both added using Dimensions category)
Click Continue to go to the contact screen.
Step 4: Customer Details
After selecting services, the customer will fill out:
Name
Phone & Email
Property Address
“How did you hear about us?”
Then, click Next and QuoteIQ will generate the estimate instantly.
They’ll see the breakdown of each service price, check off which ones they want, and digitally sign to accept.
Once signed, you’ll see it in your dashboard under the Estimates > Accepted tab — ready to schedule or invoice.
