Templates (Email, Letters, E-sign, SMS & Consolidated Invoicing)

Create and manage reusable templates in Accelerate for emails, letters, SMS, and more, to save time and maintain consistent communication.

Creating Email Templates

Not only will it reduce the number of possible errors but it will also greatly reduce your time spent writing the emails.

Navigate to the 'Settings' tab and click on 'Template Settings' button positioned at the page's top.

Navigate to 'Email Template'

Click 'Add Email Template'. Once in here you can add a brief description along with the body of the email. You can include the use of the dynamic tags found from each category below:

Once you're finished, hit the 'Save' button and the template is ready to use. You can find the templates whenever sending an email through Accelerate.

Notes: If an email template is created for the purpose of e-sign, please note Adobe Sign only supports plain-text in its accompanying messages, meaning that no images, hyperlinks, or rich text formatting (e.g bullets, list, paragraphs, media and tables) can be included.


Editing Email Templates

Head to 'Settings', click on 'Template Settings' button positioned at the page's top and scroll to 'Email Templates' section:

Expand the section, select the pencil of the template you wish to edit

You'll be able to make your desired changes and press the 'Save' button when you're happy.


Creating Letter Templates

Note: This is only available if you have licenses for the Compliance Module.

Similar to Email templates, you can create a letter template to save writing a letter of similar content over and over again!

To start, head to the settings page, click on 'Template Settings' button positioned at the page's top and scroll to the 'Letter Templates' section:

Click 'Add Letter Template' and you'll find yourself on a similar screen to this:

Note: You can use the same tags as mentioned earlier!

Save your templates and it will be ready to use in the dynamic document section.


Creating SMS Templates

You can do this the same way you would add any of the above templates by;

Going to Settings and locate the 'Template Settings' button at the top of the page and click on it. Once there, go to 'SMS Templates' and click on 'Add SMS Template'.

Type up your templates.

Save it and this will then be available to use when you send a text to one of your clients.

You can also use tags (above) in your texts and the correct information will appear in the text your client receives when getting one of your texts.


Rich Text Templates

If your team regularly add the same notes onto records or tasks within Accelerate, you can create a template to save your team time and encourage consistency.

To do this simply head over to Settings and locate the 'Template Settings' button at the top of the page and click on it. Once there, go to 'Rich Text Templates'

Provide a concise description along with the message body. Depending on your requirements, enable either 'Use for Notes' or 'Use for tasks'.

Remember to save your changes by clicking on 'Save'.

Note: templates can also be deleted by using the ‘Delete’ button in the top right hand of the screen.


Consolidated Invoices

You are able to specify at the Finance Product level what text you want printed onto consolidated invoice lines, including some smart substitution tags:

  • #PERIOD_END#

To find the finance product level, follow these steps:

Go to 'Settings'.

Click on 'Organisation Settings'.

Scroll down to 'Finance Products' and expand the section.
