Here a few tips and best practices to help you get the most value out of your Qwoted account:
Configure your profile and Expert profiles for your subject matter experts. Completed profiles are surfaced higher in search results conducted by Media users in Qwoted's Expert Database.
Pitch ASAP, and don't wait for the deadline. Reporters and writers will often have follow-up questions, and it's helpful to give them as much time as possible to conduct that follow up, before their deadline.
Keep pitching relevant opportunities. Don't get discouraged if you don't receive a response on your early pitch attempts. As long as the information you provide is relevant, credible, and meets the writer's criteria, you're likely to be quoted and be able to build a relationship with that member of the media.
Pitch in Qwoted. Pitching Qwoted opportunities outside of the platform is a violation of our Community Guidelines. Media users prefer receiving pitches in Qwoted because they're able to review submissions in a dedicated inbox inside of the platform. This ensures they won't miss your pitch. We've found that the media using our network regularly respond faster in Qwoted than they would over email.
