With the Training Max feature, coaches/athletes are able to enter the reps completed and weight lifted for the last set of an exercise to then generate a new training max.

Once a new training max has been generated, it may then be used as the max source for the athlete to work off of in future workouts.

This training max is calculated using the formula (WxRx0.03)+W by default (can be changed on the Settings page under Projected Max Formula), where W is weight lifted and R is reps complete.

Enabling Training Max:

  1. Add the exercise you wish to generate a new training max for to the workout

    1. Please Note: Training Max can only be enabled on the rotational or stations timers, OR in outline mode

  2. Check the "Training Max" box located to the right of the reps boxes (circled in the picture above).

    1. Please Note: Reps boxes must be displaying in order to see/check the training max box

Entering Training Max Data:

In order for coaches or athletes to enter workout data, the workout must be assigned on the calendar to at least one roster and "Training Max" must have been enabled for the workout. Training max data may then be entered from the workout entry page on the RackCoach website, from the athlete app or from the coach app by clicking on the assigned workout data is to be entered for.

Viewing Training Max Data:

Training max data may be seen on the athlete's individual profile page, from the Workout Entry page or on the Reports page by running a Training Data report or Gains/Loss report.
