Lawsuit Prevention Services

Limitations

  • Non-Dispute Coverage: Only non-dispute legal questions and transactional matters are covered for buyers and sellers.

  • No Litigation Initiation: RERM does not assist clients in suing their agent or initiate litigation against other brokers or agents.

  • Excludes Broker-to-Broker Commission Disputes: Commission collection assistance is available only for principal transactions.

  • Pre-Existing Matters: Matters that began before RERM enrollment are not covered.


How Much Does it Cost

  • Fees: $124 per transaction (buyer or seller), payable at close of escrow. Covers all legal support related to the transaction, both during and after closing.

  • Deductibles: E&O deductible coverage up to $10,000 for covered claims.

  • Welcome Package: After enrollment, you’ll receive a welcome email with access details, marketing materials, and instructions on contacting RERM’s Legal Center.

  • Use As Needed: After enrollment, all clients and transactions will automatically have access to RERM’s services once a representation agreement is in place.
