This guide will walk you through everything from adding a buyer to setting up their search preferences and inviting them to your branded client app.

Step 1: Add a New Buyer
Tap the Buyer icon in the toolbar.
View your list of active buyers or use the search bar to find an existing one.
Use the filter dropdown to sort buyers by:
Name
Purchase type
Date added
Status
BRBC signed or not
Tap the blue “New Buyer” button in the lower right.
Add:
First name, last name (required)
Phone number, email (required)
Optional: profile photo, address
Add a secondary buyer (e.g., spouse/partner) if needed.
Step 2: Set Up a Buyer Search
After adding the buyer, tap “Add Preference.”
Give the search a name (e.g., “Betsy’s Home Hunt”).
Set search criteria:
Location (city, neighborhood, ZIP)
Price range
Timeline (3, 6, or 12 months)
Source of lead (e.g., Open House, Referral)
Choose listing types:
For Sale (default)
Rentals
Recently Sold (great for seller leads!)
Turn on Property Email Alerts to send branded alerts automatically.
Add filters:
Beds/Baths
Square footage
Lot size
School zones, views, listing status
Keywords (matches MLS descriptions)
Tap Save to finalize the search board.
Step 3: Use Engagement & AI Tools
Engagement Score: A star icon shows how active your buyer is, powered by Mel, your AI assistant.
Status Tracking: Tap the status circle to update client status quickly.
Pipeline Overview: See search volume and projected earnings from the Buyers tab.
Step 4: Take Action From the Buyer Profile
Call, email, or message directly from the top of the profile
Quick Actions:
Send Buyer Representation Agreement
Get buyer pre-approved via Loanesk
Ask Mel to summarize the client
Add notes or upload documents (pre-approval letter, cover letter, proof of funds)
Write offers directly from the profile
Step 5: Invite Buyer to the Client App
Tap the three dots (•••) in the top-right corner of the buyer profile.
Select Invite Client.
Your client will get access to:
Their own personalized dashboard
Saved listings
AI-powered search assistant
Real-time chat with you
