In California, agents must initiate the license transfer process and your new Managing Broker at Radius will accept the transfer request. Once your license has been transferred successfully, you'll then want to inform your MLS/Association that you've switched brokerages. This article will walk you through the license transfer process and the steps you'll take to inform your MLS/Association that you've switched brokerages.
Step 1 - Transfer Your License to Radius
Log in to the eLicensing portal on the DRE website.
Navigate to License Options and choose the "view/update brokerage affiliation" option. Enter the license number 02051216 when prompted.
When asked if your new broker is available now, select No.
Provide the email address broker@radiusagent.com as prompted.
Upon completing these steps, your Managing Broker at Radius will receive an email notification and can proceed to "accept" the transfer.
Once the transfer is accepted by your Managing Broker at Radius, you will receive a confirmation email from dre_services@dre.ca.gov, verifying the acceptance and transfer of your license to Radius.
Step 2 - Notify Your MLS/Association of Brokerage Change
Contact your local MLS/Association and inform them about your brokerage change.
