As a new contractor, when you have a new placement on Raise, you will receive two emails:

  • A welcome email with your login details to access the platform

  • An email explaining the next steps to accepting your placement

When you have accessed the platform, the placement can be accessed from the dashboard, similar to below, or from the left hand side menu. You will need to click the placement ID from there, to get to the placement page.

Now on the placement page, you will have access to your profile, payment companies and review your placement.

Before accepting the placement, you will need to:

  • Upload your right to work and proof of ID

You will need to confirm you have the right to work with a proof of ID for compliance, such as an up to date passport or driving licence.

If you are not a UK national, you will also need to provide your right to work, e.g. biometric residence permit or biometric residence card

  • Confirm your payment company

This could either be a Limited company or an Umbrella company.

For an Umbrella company, please select from the available list. If your umbrella company is not listed, please contact support@raisetech.io

For a Limited company, please select from the available list. If your limited company is not listed, please click +Limited company.

  • Review your placement details

Please verify your placement details, such as the client, the start and end date and rate.

The placement can now be accepted!

From here, your timesheets will generate for you to submit and you can have a look at our timesheets article for a guide to submitting them.
