Why is Zapier Not Working?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Running a test in Zapier and seeing a “Couldn’t find a customer” message? That just means Zapier can’t grab any recent orders from your Rally.Fan store. A quick self-checkout usually does the trick.

Fast workaround

  1. Create a free checkout:

    • Either set your product price to $0 or generate a 100 % off discount code for yourself in Rally.Fan.

  2. Buy your own product:

    • Open your public Rally.Fan store and complete the checkout using the free option.

  3. Give it a minute:

    • Webhooks can take a couple of minutes to hit Zapier. Grab a coffee.

  4. Click “Retest Trigger” in Zapier:

    • Zapier should now pull in you as the sample customer.

    • Still blank? Wait five more minutes and retry.

Extra checkpoints

  • Double-check you picked the right trigger (New Customer, New Membership, etc.).

  • Make sure the Rally.Fan account you connected in Zapier is the one where the purchase happened.

  • Confirm the product you bought is the same one you’re using for the test.

Still stuck?

Pop a note to friends@rally.fan (or hit us in live chat) with a screenshot of the Zapier error, and we’ll jump in to sort it out. Happy automating!
