If you have recently re-branded your office or changed your name, we will need to update your name or office name so you are still accurately represented on RateMyAgent. Keeping your profile information up to date on RateMyAgent is essential for maintaining a professional online presence.
For office name changes, it is necessary to have written approval from your agency’s authorized representative, such as the Principal or Director.
This change will need to be implemented by RateMyAgent. Simply reach out to our Support team to get this fixed! If you're on chat, ask to speak to the team.
Ensure that the approval email includes the authorized representative and CC them in your communication to confirm authenticity.

If you have moved to another office, you simply have to log into your dashboard, go to Edit Profile on the left hand side options to update the agency name on your profile. Navigate to your profile settings and locate the 'Edit Profile' section, where you can update your agent details, photo, and other details. Save the changes to ensure your profile reflects the updated details.
If an office profile is renamed or left unclaimed, a note will indicate that the profile is unclaimed to ensure user transparency.
Updating your agent name
If you would like to update your last name on your profile due to marriage or a change in last name, our support team would be more than happy to assist you. Just let us know your current name and the name you would like to change it to.
*Note, we cannot change agent names to a team or office name, nor change an agent's name to another agent's name.
Updating Your Profile Information
After claiming your profile, you can edit the relevant fields, such as workplace or general details, through the profile management options in your dashboard.
Please note: Any requests for an individual profile to be changed to the name of an agency or team cannot be fulfilled.
If you wish to remove an office profile entirely, it’s critical to know that this action permanently deletes all reviews, sales data, and awards. Consider renaming or archiving the profile as an alternative to irreversible deletion.
