Client's perspective of a review request

What your client will see when they receive your review request via SMS or email

Updated this week

To help you guide your clients through the review process, here’s an overview of exactly what they’ll experience when they receive a review request from you.

Leaving a Review via Email

  1. Look out for an email from:
The review request will come from info@ratemyagent.com and will include your agent’s name.

  2. Open the email:
You’ll see a personalised message from your agent, along with two options:

    • Write a Review – to begin the review process

    • No thanks. Don’t remind me again – to unsubscribe from review requests

  3. Start your review:
Clicking Write a Review will take you to the review page where you can:

    • Select a star rating

    • Add a review title

    • Write your review

    • Choose to show your name or select the option to remain anonymous

    • Answer a few optional questions

  4. Final step:
Once you’ve agreed to the Terms and Conditions, simply click Submit Review to complete the process.

The client can then fill out the star rating, the review title, the review they'd like to leave, choose to display their name or tick the box to hide their name and display it as anonymous instead and a few extra optional questions. Once the client has agreed to the terms and conditions then they can click 'Submit Review'.

SMS Review Requests

  1. The text message
Your client may also receive a review request via SMS, which includes a secure link:

  2. The review process
Clicking the link opens the same review form as the email process—star rating, review title, review content, anonymity option, and optional questions:

  3. Verification step
Please note that the client will still require an email address to be able to publish a review as part of our verification process.
