An Access Key and Secret are issued for each user. These credentials function as a Username / Password combo for that user.

An AccessKey issued by a user has the same level of privilege and access as that same user would in SkySlope. So authenticating with the AccessKey and Secret of an agent means you can only access the data that agent has access to and follow the same rules that user follows.

When setting up your office (or team) profile on RateMyAgent it will require the key for the user who sits at the highest level within your business in order to receive the necessary permission and data for all of the users within your team or brokerage. This is usually the ‘Broker’ or the ‘Admin/Auditor’ which is a specific role assigned by Skyslope, you can find a detailed explanation of these roles here. Without this, we will not be able to send the requests for the relevant users associated with your team or brokerage.

Step 1: Within SkySlope click on ‘My Account’

Step 2: Once in ‘My Account’ click on the ‘Integrations’ Tab

Step 3: Click the ‘Generate New Key’ button.

Step 4: An Access Key and Secret Key will be created and you will see a message similar to below.

Step 5: You can download your new keys by clicking the Download Key & Secret button or copy and paste them directly into an email. This is the only opportunity you will have to see and save the Secret key.

Step 6: Return to RateMyAgent and go to 'Reviews' then 'Request'. From here you can click 'Connect' on SkySlope.

Step 7: Enter your Access Key & Secret in the corresponding fields and hit 'Confirm Details'
