How do you stop a review request that has already been sent?
Once a request has been sent to a client, there is no way to retract it.
You can stop the client from receiving any additional reminders
You can send a new request if the details were perhaps incorrect.
It may be that your client has changed emails or has asked you to stop sending the requests. Here is how you stop the automatic email from within RateMyAgent:
Step 1. Log into your RateMyAgent dashboard. Navigate to Reviews > Request. Then, click on View Pending Requests located on the right side of the page.
Step 2. Locate the specific review request and select Stop Reminders
When you request a review from your vendor or buyer, a weekly reminder is sent to them until they complete the review, or until the reminders are cancelled either by you or the client.
Please note that if edits are needed to a review or survey, you must contact the author directly as RateMyAgent cannot cancel or re-edit reviews.
The reminders will go out once a week for 5 weeks, or until they are completed, unsubscribed, or you cancel them.
Change the email address a request was sent.
Sending a review request to the wrong email address can be easily fixed via the Reviews tab in your profile.
1. Log into your agent profile/agency profile and select 'My Reviews' from the menu and then the 'View sent requests' tab.
2. Find the listing you have sent the request to and click 'Stop Reminders' if the button appears. This will stop reminders from going to the incorrect email address.
3. Click on the 'Edit & Resend' button to be able to add the client's correct email address and adjust any other details before clicking 'Request Review' to send the request out to your client's email address.
4. Select 'My Properties' followed by the 'Sold' tab - you will be able to locate the listing here, or you can use the street address search bar. Once you have located the listing, simply click 'Manage Reviews'.
5. Click 'Request a New Review' to send a new request.
6. Fill in the form with your client's correct email address and 'Request Review'
