Overview

A Test Suite specifies the exact information requirements for each Test that is completed as part of an Inspection. Inspections can use multiple Test Suites.

A Test Suite is owned by one Organisation and is available to any Team Member from that Organisation.

Types of Test Suite

There are four types of Test Suites:

Compliance

Record the performance of Elements or Spaces against Test Specifications using globally consistent and industry standard Rating Tools.

Condition Assessment

Record the condition of Elements or Spaces using globally consistent and industry standard Rating Tools.

Test Specifications

Test Specifications are a feature exclusive to the Test Suite (Compliance) type.

They allow the assessment of an Space or Element against one or more specific criteria held within a dynamic nested list (for example: a clause from the National Construction Code).

Where a Test Specification is used during an Inspection, both the performance criteria and Test Results are displayed in Reports.

Fast Fills

Fast Fills are pre-approved templated statements available for quick insertion in to specific fields during a Test.

Include and Compulsory options

Include

By default, all fields in your Test Suite are Included.

You can temporarily hide fields without losing their configuration by setting No on the Include field dropdown.

Compulsory

You can make fields Compulsory by setting Yes on the Compulsory field dropdown.

Incomplete compulsory fields prevent a Test from being saved with a QA or Final status. Partially completed Tests can always be saved as Archive or Draft.
