SUMMARY: Requires any legal documents associated with a minor's legal request to change his or her gender, or sex identifier, to be kept confidential and only available to be viewed by the minor, the minor's parents, the adults who signed the petition, any individual who shows cause related to the petition, and any attorney representing these parties.
STATUS: PASSED in CA Senate and Assembly and SIGNED by the Governor.
