Sell Items Using Fast Fee

Learn how to use Fast Fee to process sales for items that do not need to be attached to a specific member account.

Use the Fast Fee workflow to sell items that do not need to be attached to a specific member account.

Examples may include:

  • Bottled water

  • Granola bars

  • T-shirts or merchandise

  • Day passes

  • Other miscellaneous fee items

Where to Find: Navigate to Members > Fast Fees


Add a Fast Fee

  • Select the appropriate item from the Fee/GL dropdown menu.

  • Staff users with the Manage GL Accounts permission may also be able to select a specific GL account for the fee item.

  • Select the applicable Branch where the item is being sold.

  • Enter any additional information in the Description field.

Example Description Information: Member or participant name, shirt size, specific shirt (e.g. Day Camp or Basketball Jersey), or other relevant details.

  • Enter the Quantity being sold.

  • Review the Unit Price.

    • Depending on how the fee is configured, the Unit Price will either:

      • Automatically populate with a predefined amount.

      • Display as $0.00 and allow the staff user to enter the appropriate amount.

  • If the fee is taxable, the system will automatically calculate and add the applicable tax amount.

  • The Due Date will default to the current date.

  • Confirm that all information is correct, and then select the I am sure checkbox.

  • Select Submit to complete the addition of the Fast Fee.


Apply Payment

To process the payment, navigate to the Unpaid Items tab and complete the transaction for all selected Fast Fees or any additional items included in the sale.


Add Multiple Fees

To add multiple fee items within the same transaction, select + Add Row.

A new row will be added for each additional item. Complete the applicable fee, branch, description, quantity, and pricing information for each row before submitting the transaction.
