Sometimes you need to generate the bill for a membership before the membership is due. The most common scenario for this is when an annual member wants to renew/pay for their membership ahead of its termination date.

The best thing to do in this scenario is to Generate the next bill and set the termination date to the next year. To do this go to Unit Actions > Generate Bill For XX where the XX will be the next bill due for the member.

When generating a membership bill for a Unit with a termination date (example: Annual membership), the system will give you a summary of what is about to happen and some options of what to do with the termination date. It's important you confirm that the information is correct as it's harder to undo if you submit the request.
