Family Units or units for short are the primary object in CORE for memberships. Many associations use their unit number for reporting and gauging growth. Reclique Core each unit have a UID number. Also, each member have a MID number. In Core, a unit is not the same as a member and it's important to understand the difference between the 2 because certain actions apply to one vs the other.
What information does a unit have
There is certain information that is particular to a unit and applies to all the members within it.
For example:
Membership Type
Membership Price and Discounts/Addons
Termination/Hold Dates
Payment Methods
Balance Due/Unscheduled Payments
Invoices and Receipts
Who is its primary member
Home Branch (if your association has multiple branches)
Whether or not the unit is active or inactive as a whole
Program Registration History
Donation History
