Roles & Permissions

Workspace roles define what users can see and do, with Owner, Admin, Editor, and Viewer ensuring secure collaboration and controlled access across the workspace.

Written by Max Jackson

Every member of your workspace is assigned a role that determines what they can see and do. Roles make it easy to collaborate with your team while keeping sensitive actions, like managing billing or royalties, restricted to the right people.

There are four roles: Owner, Admin, Editor, and Viewer. A workspace always has exactly one Owner (the user creating the workspace, while Admins, Editors, and Viewers can be added as needed.
