Introduction to Workspaces

Written by Max Jackson

Music is made in all kinds of forms and constellations like solo, duos, full teams or labels. There's no one right way to work, so we don't think there should be one right way to structure it. That's why we built Workspaces: a place that adapts to however you and your team actually work, instead of forcing everyone into a single-user model.

Who it's for

Everyone has a Workspace by default. Your workspace is where your releases, ownership, revenue and performance live. You can customize the name and logo to make it more personal.

With Pro, you can also create additional Workspaces and invite other people into them, so your team can collaborate in the same place. If you work on your own with clear individual ownership, your default Workspace on Core already covers what you need.

What you get with Pro:

🔗 Multiple Workspaces Create additional Workspaces to organize different projects, artists, or teams separately.

👥 Invite collaborators Bring producers, managers and other collaborators into your Workspace instead of working from separate accounts.

🎚️ Roles & permissions Every member gets a defined role, so ownership and responsibility are always clear.

🔑 One login, several Workspaces You can be part of more than one Workspace, your own and any you're invited into, all from the same account. No need to juggle multiple logins to move between them.

FAQ

Do I need Pro to use a Workspace?

No, every user has a Workspace by default. Pro lets you create more Workspaces and invite others into them.

Can I still have my own releases inside a Workspace?

Yes. A Workspace doesn't replace individual ownership, it structures ownership wherever multiple people are involved.

What happens to my existing releases if I switch from Core to Pro?

Your existing releases and data stay in your default Workspace. You can then create additional Workspaces and invite collaborators as needed.

How many people can I invite to a Workspace?

No limits!

Can someone be part of more than one Workspace?

Yes, both Pro & Core users can join as many workspace they'll like.
