SoundCloud is one of the largest audio streaming services in the world. SoundCloud allows users to upload, promote and share audio.

SoundCloud is available in most countries and territories. Recently, they started offering monetization on select countries โ€“ allowing musicians to earn royalties from streams in those markets. Record Union can help you get your music on SoundCloud countries where monetization is available.

Can Record Union help me release my tracks on SoundCloud?

Yes. SoundCloud is included in our World Domination package.

I already uploaded my music on my personal SoundCloud account, can I still upload it to SoundCloud via Record Union?

Yes! And when you upload to Record Union, your music will be monetized. Please know the SoundCloud monetization is only launched in the following countries and territories:

AS, AT, AU, BE, CA, CH, DE, DK, ES, FI, FR, GG, GU, IE, IM, IT, JE, MX, MP, NL, NO, NZ, PT, PR, SE, US, UK, VI

Why do I see two SoundCloud profiles under my artist name?

When you upload your music to SoundCloud via Record Union, SoundCloud automatically creates a profile page for you. Content on this page is available in the countries and territories the monetization is launched:

AS, AT, AU, BE, CA, CH, DE, DK, ES, FI, FR, GG, GU, IE, IM, IT, JE, MX, MP, NL, NO, NZ, PT, PR, SE, US, UK, VI

However, manually uploaded content is available to all SoundCloud users so this may be why you may see two separate artist profiles.

Can I merge my SoundCloud artist profiles?

Yes, we can request SoundCloud to merge the automatically created profile with your owned and operated profile. Doing this means the tracks delivered via Record Union are what will appear on your profile. When this happens these tracks will only be available in the countries and territories where the SoundCloud program monetization is launched. If youโ€™d like to proceed with merging your profiles, please contact our support team and we'll send a request on your behalf.
