Once you've set up a royalty split, you can change the split share as well as the recipients whenever you want to. Simply go to the ‘Royalty splits’ page and find the track/release you want to make updates to.

There's no limit to how many times you can change the split, but do keep in mind that the valid split share is the one that's in the system the day we report royalties. For example, if you change splits on May 5th, 13th and 25th, the valid one will be the split added on May 25th as we report royalties at the end of each month.

Anytime an update is made, the affected collaborators/split receivers, will be notified by email that a change has been made.

I’m having issues adding or making updates to my splits, what’s wrong?

To accurately report royalties, we temporarily disable managing splits when we do the reporting at the end of the month. This is just temporary, so if you try again in a few hours, it should work again.
