Submitted & processed returns
Returns Submitted:
Total number of returns submitted via customer submission or merchant-created. Doesn't count returns that have been reset.
Returns processed:
Total number of returns completed or rejected.
Note: The returns processed include all complete and rejected returns.
Returns processed rate:
Percentage of processed returns out of submitted returns.
Returns processed rate = processed returns / submitted returns
Note: Signaling arrows indicate an increase or decrease in the number of returns processed. A higher processing rate may reflect greater diligence from your team in handling returns, or it could indicate that your store has approved more returns than in previous periods.
How this can enhance your business:
Monitoring how quickly and effectively your team processes returns ensures nothing falls through the cracks. A high processing rate means your operations are running smoothly, customers are getting timely resolutions, and your support queues are under control. This metric helps you maintain service quality as your order volume scales.
