FAQ: Migrating to Mobile 3.0

Everything you need to know about the upcoming move

What do I need to do?

  1. Make sure you've downloaded all of the footage you want before Saturday, July 12, 2025. You will have view access to all of your footage, but you will not be able to download old footage after the migration.

  2. Make sure you've updated to mobile app version 2.10.4. From there, we can take care of the migration seamlessly for you.

What's so great about 3.0?

  • A much smoother experience overall

  • Android users can finally access Reeplayer directly.

  • Improved action tracking

  • Better camera app connectivity

Will my existing game footage move to the new mobile app?

Your content will be migrated to the new mobile app. Old footage will live under the camera that recorded the game, under My games.

If your games were already published on a team space, they will be published publicly on the new team profile.

Please note: You will only have view access for old footages. Download your footage today because you will not have the ability to download old footage going forward. You will be able to download new games recorded on the new experience as usual.

What about my Reeplays?

Your Reeplays will be migrated into the new app under My clips.

If they were public, they'll be added to Game highlights.

Do I have to create a new profile?

You do not have to create a new profile. Your profile will be migrated. You can always edit it in the new app.

Will this reset my existing team spaces?

Your team spaces will become simply "Teams" in the new app. We will migrate your space names. You can make edits in the new app as needed.

What about guests and members of my spaces?

Guests and members will automatically become "Followers" of your Team in the new framework.

Do I have to re-register my camera?

Your camera will migrate with its currently assigned owner.

If you need us to reset any ownership due to Android/iPhone delegation in the past, reach out to us at support@reeplayer.com.

Do I have to re-invite my admins?

No, you will not need to re-assign your admins.

Will there be any downtime?

We are doing our best to ensure there is no downtime. There is a small chance that the Apple approval process may cause minor downtime on Monday, July 14, 2025.
