Tripod and mount

Placing your mount on the tripod

As you get started setting up your tripod, the first step will be to remove this small insert, which allows the mount to fit different sizes of tripods. Grab a flathead screwdriver (or even a coin or key) and unscrew this small piece. It should come off pretty easily. You won't need this for your Reeplayer tripod, but you can keep this piece if you'd like.

Now, you're ready to attach the mount to the tripod:

Setting up your tripod

Before you head to the field, follow along with the video below to do a quick test run and make sure everything is ready for game day!

Mount Angle Adjustment

Tilt your mount down by about 22 degrees using your iPhone's measure app for guidance. A slight downward angle will make sure your camera can capture the action from high above the field.

At the field, ensure the soccer field's bottom line is visible in your preview. Adjust the tripod or tilt angle as needed for the perfect view.

Once you set this up initially, this becomes your go-to setup, and you shouldn't have to do it again.

Game day

Watch the video below for a comprehensive guide on how to record successfully. It covers everything from setting up your tripod on the field, positioning your camera, marking the field, calibrating, and the recording process. You'll also learn how to manage your recording, create tags during the game, and successfully save your recording.

Uploading your game

Once your game's recorded, charge your camera and switch it on at home on WiFi. Launch the mobile app and link up with your camera. Choose 'Overview' to connect to WiFi and kick off the upload, or opt for a USB-C to Ethernet (with adapter) connection through your router.

Once the upload is complete, it may take ~45 minutes to process, and then you can enjoy the game footage right from your homepage.
