Share a Project with a link

Share a live link to a project. Anyone with the link can see its photos, tasks, checklists, comments, and notes, with no RelayCam account needed. Turn it off any time.

Share a project link to give someone a live view of your whole project. It works like a public Google Drive link: anyone who has the link can open the project in their browser and see what's in it, and they don't need a RelayCam account.

Anyone with the link can see most of the project. That includes photos, tasks, checklists, comments, and notes, not just photos. If you only want to share photos, use a photo feed or a photo gallery instead.

What people with the link can see

  • Photos and videos on the project's upload feed. New photos appear automatically as your team uploads them.

  • Tasks and checklists on the project.

  • Comments and notes on the project.

  • Photo tags and descriptions.

Think of it as a live view of the project. When your team adds something new, the person with the link sees it too.

What they can't do or see

  • They can look, but not change anything. To post a comment or edit anything, a person has to sign in to RelayCam.

  • They don't see the project's contacts, its team members list, reports, or the Files tab. Those need a RelayCam login.

Share a project

  1. Open the project and tap the menu (⋮).

  2. Tap Share Project.

  3. Tap Copy Link to paste it into a text or email, or tap Share… to send it from your phone.

The sheet shows who turned the link on and when, and a Link on tag appears on the project.

Sharing from the web? On the web, Share Project also shares the project as a public project. Anyone with the link can view it.

Turn the link off

  1. Open the project, tap the menu (⋮), and tap Share Project.

  2. Turn the link off. Only project members can see the project after that.

Turned it off by mistake? Tap Undo right away. After that, turning the link on again creates a new link, so you'll need to send it again.
