A photo feed is a link that shows a project's photos in real time. Use it to keep a customer updated during a job. You choose what they see, and you can reset or stop the link whenever you want.
Photo feed or project link? A photo feed shows only photos and videos. If you want someone to see the whole project, including checklists, comments, and notes, use Share a project with a link instead.
Share a photo feed
Open the project and tap the menu (⋮).
Tap Share Project Photo Feed. The first time you open it, RelayCam creates the link and turns it on.
Tap Copy, or tap Share Link to send it from your phone.
Anyone with the link can see the project's photos as they come in.
Choose what people see
Everyone who opens the link always sees the project name, photos, videos, and dates. Under What they'll see, you can also turn on:
Setting | What it shows | Default |
Photo Descriptions | The notes your team adds to uploads | Off |
Who Uploaded It | The uploader's first name and last initial | Off |
Never shared in a photo feed: tasks, checklists, notes, files, reports, comments, team, and location.
Reset or stop the link
Option | What happens |
Reset Link | Creates a new link. The old link stops working for anyone who has it, so you'll need to send the new one. |
Link Sharing off | Stops the feed completely. No one can open it, including people who had the old link. |
The sheet shows whether sharing is on, and who created the link and when.
Troubleshooting
What you see | What to do |
"Couldn't load the feed link." | Check your connection and try again. |
"Couldn't save that change." | Try the setting again. |
