Tag photos, and tag every photo as you shoot

Use tags to group and find photos. Set tags in the camera so every photo you take is tagged automatically, or tag photos you've already taken.

Tags are short labels, like "Before," "Damage," or "Roof," that help you group and find photos later. Set tags in the camera and every photo you take is tagged automatically, or add tags to photos you've already taken.

Good to know: RelayCam doesn't guess tags for you. You choose them, and the camera applies your choice to every photo you take until you change it.

Tag every photo as you shoot

1. Open the tag picker in the camera

  1. Open the camera on a project.

  2. Tap the tag icon on the right side of the camera. The Tags list opens.

2. Choose your tags

  1. Tap one or more tags to select them. Use Search tag to find one quickly.

  2. Tap Save.

3. Take your photos

The tag icon turns green to show tags are on. Every photo you take now carries those tags, and they stay on until you change them in the tag picker.

Create a new tag

  1. In the tag picker, type the new tag's name in Search tag.

  2. If nothing matches, tap Create "your tag".

  3. Enter the tag name, choose a color, and confirm. You'll see "Tag created successfully."

Keep names short. Tag names can be up to 15 characters.

Tag photos you've already taken

One photo

  1. Open the photo.

  2. Tap the tag icon in the row of icons at the bottom, pick your tags, and tap Save. You'll see "Tags updated successfully."

Several photos at once

  1. Open a project's Uploads and select the photos.

  2. Tap the tag icon in the bar at the bottom and pick the tags. To take tags off the selected photos, use Remove.

On the web, select photos and click Tag in the bar at the top.

Find photos by tag

Open the filter on Home or in a project's Uploads and choose a tag under Post Tags. Project tags have their own section, Project Tags.

Rename or delete a tag

Admins and Managers can edit or delete tags from the tag list by using the pencil and trash icons next to each tag.

Deleting a tag can't be undone. It's removed from all of your photos and projects.
