Rembrand has an app in the Adobe Creative Cloud Exchange allowing an easier video export process. If you are having any issues with the app, please check for app updates.
Check out our video tutorial here, or follow the steps below.
Steps to upload a video project file from Adobe Premiere:
Install Rembrand's Adobe Premiere app extension.
Launch Adobe Premiere and open your video project that you wish to submit to Rembrand. Navigate to Window > Extensions > Rembrand
The Rembrand window will open within Adobe Premiere. Click Login
A device confirmation screen will pop up in your browser window to link your Rembrand account; click Confirm.
Your browser will then confirm "Congratulations, you're all set!" and the Rembrand screen within Adobe Premiere will refresh on its own. You can close your browser window and the rest is all completed within Adobe Premiere.
The Rembrand extension should now appear as a window within Adobe Premiere Pro.
Ensure the correct Creator account is logged in and selected. Select the project sequence(s) that you wish to submit for product placement with Rembrand, noting each sequence will be treated as its own video file for placement. Click Send.
In the dialog box, choose any local folder with space where your project file can be temporarily stored, and click Select. The upload process will then begin.
NOTE: Remember which folder you choose. If anything fails during the upload (e.g. your computer goes to sleep or battery dies), following the same steps above while choosing the same folder will resume mid-upload without starting from scratch.
Adobe Media Encoder will open on its own and begin encoding each video clip for upload. Do not close Media Encoder or Premiere.
(Adobe Media Encoder is a transcoding & rendering application that lets you deliver audio and video files in a broad variety of formats; it is free/packaged with Adobe Premiere.)Tabbing back to Rembrand's Adobe Premiere panel will show you progress across multiple steps: creating proxies, zipping, uploading, rendering. Uploading will take some time depending on the size and quality of your video.
Once each step is completed, you will see a Success confirmation in Premiere. Click OK. You can now close the Rembrand extension window at your leisure; the sequence selected at the top will still show as "100%" with a note "Upload Completed!".
Rembrand has now received your video files! If you wish to confirm, log into app.rembrand.com and navigate to My Library on the left. Your video from Adobe Premiere will now appear here with the status Uploaded.Once your video is uploaded you can leverage Rembrand AI Studio to add paid campaign placement to your video.
