Donor ACH request emails

Get notified when donors ask you to set up ACH payments

What is a donor ACH request?

Donors can ask your charity to set up ACH (direct bank transfer) payments. When a donor sends a request, you’ll get an email letting you know.

Who receives these emails?

All admins on your charity’s account receive donor ACH request emails.

When won’t I receive a donor ACH request email?

You won’t receive a donor ACH request email if any of the following apply:

  • You’ve already set up ACH.

  • You’ve turned off donor ACH request emails (see below).

  • You’ve already received the maximum number of donor ACH request emails for the year. By default, this is 5 emails per year.

Are donor ACH request emails turned on by default?

Yes, they’re turned on automatically.

How do I turn donor ACH request emails off or back on?

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Locate Notifications.

  3. Check or uncheck the ACH request box.

Your change applies to everyone on your charity’s account.
