Posting on social media

Manually share reviews or properties on your social media account

Updated this week

Disclaimer: A paid subscription is required to share reviews on your linked social media page.

Renowned provides tools to help you share and promote customer reviews on social media. Below is a simple guide to using templates, posting content, and increasing the visibility of your reviews. Please note an active subscription is required.

Because social platforms often have character limits, each shared post includes a link directing readers to the full review on your profile.

To manually post a review or a property on social media, you will need to make sure you have linked your social media to your Renowned profile - click here to learn how.

It's important to note that the Social Media Links section on your profile only displays icons linking to your social media pages and does not sync or automatically post your RateMyAgent reviews on those platforms.

Templates are pre-designed formats in Renowned that help you create visually appealing posts optimized for social media platforms. These templates ensure that your shared reviews stand out and align with the aesthetic requirements of different platforms.

How to Create a Social Media Post

From your agent/agency dashboard, simply select Social Media Posts and click on 'Create Post'

Using templates not only saves time but also ensures that your shared content is engaging and professional. Templates are tailored for effective visual communication on platforms with varying design standards.

To access the social media sharing features and templates, you need an active subscription with Renowned. Subscriptions unlock all tools necessary for optimizing review visibility and social proof.

Subscribers can also configure automatic posting schedules for social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Google, ensuring consistent visibility for their reviews and listings.

You will have the option to select which content to post whether it is a review, a RateMyAgent award, active listing or a completed listing:

Quick tips for better visibility:

  • Keep posts short and visually appealing

  • Encourage users to click the link to view the full review

  • Share regularly to build trust

  • Manage automatic post schedules to ensure updates are shared at optimal times

Step 1: Choose Your Content = You will be asked what review or listing you wish to post. You can either look up the address with the search function or select from the drop-down list and click 'Next'.

Previous reviews in RateMyAgent can be refreshed and shared with updated templates. This gives older content a new visual appeal while adhering to current social media trends.
