Everything you need to know to integrate BirdEye Reviews

Renowned is excited to announce a new integration with BirdEye, enabling reviews to flow directly into RateMyAgent (RMA) profiles for Belle Property offices.


How do I get my BirdEye reviews onto RateMyAgent?

The BirdEye integration has been set up automatically for Belle Property offices, so no action is required to initiate the integration. It is also important to note BirdEye ID's are set up at an agency level, not per agent.

Completed BirdEye reviews for property sales will automatically feed to an agent's profile, provided there is a match between the review, the agent, and the transaction.

Completed leasing reviews will also be received, but they will need to be manually attributed. These reviews will appear in the Import section and will prompt the office to match them with the relevant transaction.


​Why didn’t one of my BirdEye reviews reviews come across to RateMyAgent?

A review may not appear on RateMyAgent for several reasons, including:

  • The review could not be automatically matched to a listing

  • Missing or incomplete transaction information

  • The review does not meet RateMyAgent’s verification requirements

  • The review is missing an email address

  • The review does not meet the minimum 20 character count to qualify for publication to RMA.

In these cases, the review will appear in the Import section and require manual action.

If you believe reviews are missing and you have checked the Import section, please:

  1. Ensure you have your BirdEye ID. If you are unsure of your ID, contact Belle Property Head Office.

  2. Email our team at support@renowned.com, specifying your BirdEye ID, for further assistance.


Will leasing reviews be included?

Yes. Leasing reviews from both tenants and landlords collected via BirdEye will be received by RateMyAgent. However leasing reviews requires manual action from the office:

  • Leasing reviews will appear in the Import section

  • Offices will be prompted to match each review to the correct transaction


What happens if a review is submitted without an email address?

BirdEye collects reviews via mobile or email, so some reviews may arrive without an email address. Reviews on RateMyAgent require an email address to be added so the review can be verified on our platform.

These reviews will:

  • Still appear in Import

  • Prompt the agent or agency to match the review to a listing

  • Require an email address to be added so the review can be verified on RateMyAgent


What happens if I get a bad review on BirdEye? Will it end up on
RateMyAgent?

RateMyAgent are only receiving reviews from BirdEye that are 4 stars or greater.


​What happens if there is a duplicate review?

Our system will pick up on any duplicates through matching the email address and
transaction details in order to eliminate the duplicates.


​Can I remove a review from RateMyAgent?

No, agents and agencies do not have the ability to hide, edit or remove reviews from their profile. More information provided here.


Is TestimonialTree still supported?

No, TestimonialTree will no longer be a part of the review collection process.


What happens if there is a duplicate review?

RMA’s system will pick up on any duplicates through matching the email address and
transaction details and eliminate the duplicates.


Where else can I put these reviews now they are on RMA?

Once your reviews are on RateMyAgent, you can:

  • Share reviews to Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Domain!

How does this affect our Google rankings and SEO?

RMA reviews positively impacts your digital footprint. Each review has its own dedicated landing page which Google loves! The more of these pages you have (your reviews), the higher you will rank in Google, and ultimately, page 1 of the search results.


Do BirdEye reviews flowing through count towards RateMyAgent’s statistics and awards?

Yes. BirdEye reviews that flow through to RateMyAgent do count towards statistics, rankings, and awards. RateMyAgent has anti-fraud measures in place to maintain review integrity. If a review is deemed fraudulent or does not meet our guidelines, it may be blocked and will not be published.


What if I don't want to subscribe or decide to unsubscribe?

Your subscription level will not impact this integration. It is free to collect reviews and Renowned will continue to pull across the Bird Eye reviews to RateMyAgent regardless of your individual agent/agency subscription type.


How do I share this review to my social media accounts?

If you have a subscription with Renowned as shown here, you are able to share these reviews to Facebook, Instagram, Google My Business, Twitter and LinkedIn via Social Studio or the Social Media Manager tool.
