📄 Forms, Driver's Licences and the AI Document Check

Reading the AI document check and finding a customer's signed forms

Every rental has three forms — Agreement, Pickup and Return — shown as badges on the rental tile that turn green as each comes in.

  1. 📝 Forms button
Opens that renter's own forms page, already filled in and correctly gated. Use it to walk someone through signing over the phone.

  2. 🪪 View licence
Appears once a licence has been stored. Use it when the automated check has flagged something and you want to look with your own eyes.

  3. 🤖 Reading the AI document check
Green — read cleanly, nothing to do. Amber — worth a look, for example the image was hard to read. Red STOP — do not hand over the trailer until a person has checked it. Expired licences and genuine name mismatches show red.

💡 Pro Tip
The Return form unlocks an hour after the trailer goes out — either when the renter submits the pick-up form or when you tap Mark picked up. The delay stops someone completing their return inspection at the counter before they have left.

💡 Pro Tip
A red flag is advisory, not a lock. It is telling you to use your judgement, not that the customer is doing something wrong — a middle name on the licence that is missing from the booking is a common and harmless cause.
