Overview
Memberships no longer have to follow a strict monthly billing cycle. With flexible memberships, you can choose how often your membership plans bill, whether that’s weekly, monthly, quarterly, or even yearly.
This feature gives you the freedom to design memberships that better match your treatment cadence, reduce financial risk, and deliver a smoother experience for your patients.
Why It Matters
Traditional monthly memberships don’t work for every practice and patient.
flexible memberships help you:
Match billing to your care schedule for clearer patient expectations.
Reduce cancellations and billing confusion by aligning benefits with the chosen billing cadence.
How to Create a Flexible Membership
Log in to your Admin Portal and navigate to Memberships in the App Builder.
Click Create New Membership
3. Under Membership Period, select how often the membership should bill:
Weekly (e.g., every 4 weeks)
Monthly (default)
Quarterly (every 3 months)
Yearly (every 12 months)
Custom - You pick from 1 week up to 3 years!
4. Select the Minimum Period Commitment
5. Add your included treatments, milestone bonuses, and Beauty Bank allocations.
You can adjust when a bonus or treatment becomes available to the patient to use or they will automatically become available based on your chosen billing cycle (e.g., Patients receive all of the included treatments after 3 months if my membership is set to quarterly billing).
6. Review and Save.
Once patients are active on a membership, billing cadence can’t be changed. If you need to make an update, you have to create a new version of the membership.
Key Features
Custom Billing Intervals – Weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual billing options.
You Chose When Treatments Become Available – Benefit availability (treatments, Beauty Bank, milestone bonuses) adjust to match the billing cycle.
Clear Commitment Messaging – Membership pages and cards display “Every 3 months” or “Every 12 months,” depending on the cycle.
FAQs

A: No. Once a patient is enrolled, the billing cycle is locked. You’ll need to create a new membership version if changes are needed.
Q: How does benefit availability work?
A: You can adjust when a bonus or treatment becomes available or these options will automatically adjust based on your chosen billing cycle (e.g., After 3 months for quarterly billing).
Q: What happens if I disable rollover?
A: Unused treatments will be removed at the end of the billing cycle. A popup will confirm this choice before finalizing.
Q: What is the default billing cycle?
A: Monthly billing remains the default unless you choose otherwise.
