Overview
Stripe setup lets your practice securely accept payments and get fast, reliable payouts through Stripe Connect. It also powers RepeatMD features like in‑app checkouts, memberships, and financing, so renewals and payouts run smoothly without extra work for your team.
How To Set UP
When you receive your Stripe Setup link from RepeatMD, you’ll use it to create and verify your Stripe account so you can start receiving payments from transactions in your app. This guide covers the setup process specifically for Canadian businesses.
Step 1: Open Your Stripe Setup Link
Click the setup link provided by RepeatMD.
Enter the email address you want to use as your primary Stripe login.
Note: Use an email you check regularly. Stripe will send important account and payout notifications here.
3. Enter your phone number to enable two-factor authentication (2FA).
Stripe will send a 6-digit code.
Enter the code to confirm your login.
Step 2: Select Business Type
After logging in, you’ll be taken to the Business Details section.
Confirm your Business Type. Options include:
Individual / Sole Proprietorship

Note: You’ll also need to confirm whether this representative owns 25% or more of the company and whether they serve as a director or board member.
Step 5: Add Additional Owners & Directors
If there are multiple individuals who own 25% or more, Stripe will require their information as well.
You’ll also need to confirm the directors of the company.
Stripe may ask you to upload one of the following documents for verification:
Articles of Incorporation or Association
Corporate Profile Report
Notice of Articles / Notice of Change of Directors (Form 6, 4006, or 3006)

Enter a support phone number patients can call if they have questions about charges.
