Overview
RepeatMD lets practice owners and admins export their full client list directly from the Admin Panel. The exported file is a CSV containing client names, contact details, and other customer record information from your Customer List table. This article walks through how to find the table, download the file, and use it outside of RepeatMD.
Before You Start
You must have admin access to the RepeatMD Admin Panel.
The export pulls from the Customer List table on the Platform Overview page.
Exports are delivered in CSV format, which opens in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, and most data tools.
Large client lists may take a few moments to generate. Stay on the page until the file finishes downloading.
Why It Matters
Your client list is one of the most valuable assets your practice owns. Exporting it gives your team a portable record for reporting on growth, building targeted marketing campaigns, sharing data with outside vendors, or migrating information into another system. Having the data on hand also makes it easier to spot trends, clean up duplicate records, and keep your contact database aligned across the tools your practice uses every day.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Export Your Client List
Log in to the Admin Panel using your RepeatMD credentials.
Go to Platform Overview in the main navigation.
Scroll down to the Customer List table. This section contains all of your client records, including names, emails, and other contact details.
Click Download CSV in the top-right corner of the Customer List table.
The CSV will download automatically to your Downloads folder (or whichever location your browser is set to use).
Open and Review the File
Locate the downloaded CSV in your Downloads folder.
Open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or another spreadsheet application.
Review the columns to confirm the data exported the way you expected.
Save a copy in your preferred format (XLSX, Google Sheet, etc.) if you plan to edit or share the file.
Best Practices and Pro Tips
Filter inside RepeatMD first. If you only need a segment of your client list, use the filtering options in the Customer List table before exporting. This keeps your file clean and avoids extra cleanup later.
Store exports securely. Your client list contains personal contact information. Save the file to a secure location, and follow your practice's data handling policies when sharing it with team members or vendors.
Use a consistent naming convention. Add the date to the file name (for example, RepeatMD-Clients-2026-05-13.csv) so your team can tell exports apart at a glance.
Refresh regularly. Export a fresh copy whenever you run a campaign, audit your database, or hand data to a third party so you are always working with the most recent client records.
Need to print the list? Open the CSV in a spreadsheet application, adjust column widths and sorting, then print from there. Printing directly from a CSV viewer usually produces poor formatting.
Common Mistakes and FAQs
Q: Where is the Download CSV button?
A: The button lives in the top-right corner of the Customer List table on the Platform Overview page. If you do not see it, confirm you are on Platform Overview and have scrolled to the Customer List section.
Q: Why is my download taking so long?
A: Large client lists take longer to generate. Keep the page open and your internet connection stable until the file finishes downloading. If it stalls, refresh the page and try again.
Q: Can I export the file in Excel format instead of CSV?
A: The export is delivered as a CSV. Once downloaded, you can open the file in Excel and save it as XLSX if you prefer that format.
Q: Can I export only specific clients?
A: Yes. Use the filtering options inside the Customer List table to narrow the list before clicking Download CSV. The export will reflect the filters you have applied.
Q: Who on my team can export the client list?
A: Anyone with admin access to your RepeatMD Admin Panel can export the list. If a team member cannot find the Download CSV button, check their permissions first.
Q: Is exporting the same as backing up my data?
A: No. An export is a point-in-time snapshot of your client list. RepeatMD continues to manage your live data inside the platform, but the CSV will not update on its own. Re-export whenever you need the latest information.
